Some of my favorite purchases :)

Hey everyone! So school is 8 days in and I feel "back in the groove" now! Yay!

Now that I have been able to use some of my newly purchased TpT items, I wanted to share them with you! I have to say, I made some pretty great purchases! I will review more of them in coming months, but here are 2 great ones!
This Super Fun Back to School Activities pack made my life so easy throughout that first week of school! This was actually a TpT item I won through a giveaway on the seller's blog! Lacie from Polka Dots and Pencils is SO generous! :) I was SOOO excited to win this item because it was already in my shopping cart on TpT! How fantastic!?
One really great thing about this product was that it came with pretty colored versions of each work sheet/activity, as well as easy-to-copy versions with less ink. That was something I really appreciated since I printed this item at school.
Two of my students' favorite products were MEETO and The Left/Right Game! I just LOVED every minute of both of those activities. They took up a good amount of time, allowed the students to get more comfortable in my classroom (and with each other), and involved PRIZES! I mean, c'mon, of course they are GREAT!

The next item was one I purchased as soon as I heard about it from the seller. Stephanie from Teaching in Room 6 created an unbelievable packet of homework and quizzes that directly correlates to 5th grade Common Core Math! Woooo Hooooo!!!! This is going to save me SOO much time! I am already smiling about how much I love this product, and the year has only just begun!

I really love that quizzes are included, as well. This spiral packet is just perfect for me. I teach with Everyday Math, and it really has aligned perfectly! I am thrilled!

The answer key comes with this product, as well! I am just so grateful that Stephanie put so much time and effort into creating something so beneficial for me :) She also sells this item for 4th grade!!

It is important to me that you all know neither of these sellers asked me to write about their products! I asked their permission a while back, when I first got my hands on them, and I am now sooo thrilled to be able to tell you all about them! They really are super products, as well as items that just save time! What teacher wouldn't want to save time!?

I just love my class and I am so excited to watch them grow this year. I have such a sweet bunch of students! I already received a fantastic piece of artwork from one of my students - she knows me so well already! Auburn, tennis, and chocolate!!! :)

So...as I am excited about these products...I am also SO ANXIOUS for GAMEDAY today!!! ahhhh!! Auburn plays Clemson tonight at 7 pm Eastern...and I am sort of freaking out! My sister Caitlin (you may know her from Kindergarten Smiles) is there, and I am so JEALOUS!
This is my second football season away from Auburn...as I moved to Charleston, SC last summer. I just hate playing Clemson or Carolina because I now live near all of their fans! .... it is way worse if we lose to those teams now that I am surrounded by their fans...

So, in the spirit of the game..here is a fantastic image that someone e-mailed my husband recently
...ENOUGH SAID...

  1. I am a huge fan of all of your creations! I want to do a favorite purchases post (in which your Yearly Binder will be #1) but first I blogged about your Math Alphabet letters. I am so, so, so in LOVE with them! I had to share them with the world.. I've already shared them with all the teachers at my school. If you want to read my blog post, go here- http://fourthgradelemonade.blogspot.com/2012/09/product-giveaway.html

  2. I just found your blog, and I'm your newest follower. (I'm sorry, though, I'm for the other team). Your classroom looks so pretty, and I can't wait to look through more posts! I'd like to invite you over to my blog for my new linky called "Fun Friday." It is all about the fun things we do in our classrooms. I'd love to have you link up if you get a chance!
